I finally got to hear from my dad today via text message. Apparently their electricity might be out for 4 weeks. I remember that happening when Hurricane Andrew hit.
I’m not sure why, but I noticed that national news websites are BARELY covering this storm that has devastated many Louisiana towns. Just because New Orleans survived the storm, doesn’t mean that these other cities should be overlooked. Just sayin’
